Dr. Nina Lum is board-certified in family medicine and currently practices hospital medicine in Kentucky. She completed residency training at the University of Kentucky Rural Program where she graduated as chief resident in 2015. She is a health and wellness columnist, lifestyle blogger, and a health media enthusiast who also is passionate about continuing to serve on short-term medical mission trips to Africa and the Caribbean.
Dr. Lum was born and raised in Cameroon, west-central Africa, and actively helps to navigate other medical students, particularly immigrants, through careers in medicine via social media based mentorship and motivational speaking. She was a nominee for the 2018 Physician of the Year award at her institution where she currently serves as the Chief Quality Officer at her hospital.
